Foundation-Operated Network Endpoints

To maintain complete network transparency, every domain that Nivara connects to is strictly documented with its operational purpose and data retention policy.

HTTPS (TLS 1.3 Strict)

Delivers cryptographically signed update manifests (version codes, SHA-256 hashes, and changelogs).

Data Flow: Client sends HTTP GET query with current version and platform. Server responds with static JSON manifest.
Retention Policy: Zero persistent IP storage. Aggregate daily request count only.

HTTPS (TLS 1.3 Strict)

Distributes updated tracker, ad, and malware blocklist rule definitions (EasyList / EasyPrivacy / uBlock rules).

Data Flow: Client downloads compiled filter list blobs every 48 hours.
Retention Policy: Zero log retention on edge CDN cache nodes.

DNS-over-HTTPS (RFC 8484) / DNS-over-TLS (RFC 7858)

Optional encrypted DNS resolver with built-in ad/tracker domain null-routing.

Data Flow: Client forwards encrypted DNS queries; server resolves via authoritative root servers.
Retention Policy: Strict zero query logging. Operates in volatile RAM with no query disks.

Routes release artifact downloads and derives coarse regional statistics.

Data Flow: Resolves approximate country/region in RAM; executes atomic aggregate count increment.
Retention Policy: Zero raw IP retention in database tables or application logs.

Nivara Browser is owned and operated by the Navavritti Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit institution (CIN: U88900MH2025NPL463009) registered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

We do not answer to venture capital or advertising shareholders. Our development is funded through philanthropic grants, public CSR partnerships, and transparent individual donations.
