Navavritti Foundation is registered under Section 8 of the Indian Companies Act, 2013, as a non-profit company. The board of directors oversees all project budgets, technology selections, and telemetry audits. The board meets quarterly to review compliance checklists, independent financial audits, and project progress logs.

Compliance & Certifications

We maintain active certifications to ensure all corporate grants and donations are eligible for statutory exemptions:

• verified 12A Certification: Tax-exempt status granted under the Income Tax Act.
• verified 80G Certification: Grants 50% tax deduction eligibility to all donor contributions.
• verified CSR Registration (CSR-1): Registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) to receive and execute corporate CSR programs.

Code of Ethics

• Conflict of Interest: Directors and coordinators do not participate in any decision where a personal or familial commercial interest is present.

To ensure efficient use of grants and donations, Navavritti adheres to standard, competitive procurement guidelines:

• payments Competitive Quotes: Minimum of three independent vendor quotes required for all equipment purchases over ₹50,000.
• sync_alt Local Sourcing: Priority is given to regional hardware suppliers in Maharashtra to lower shipping overheads and build local maintenance options.

• Off-Grid Solar Priority: All remote Smart Schools, Water ATMs, and public toilet telemetry systems are designed to run on independent solar batteries, reducing local grid reliance.
• Zero Waste Water Goals: Water ATM filtration units route overflow to local school gardens or village community recharge pits.
